Norwood Development Group was proud to participate in this year’s City Serve Day, with team members spending the day helping clean up a local creek alongside thousands of volunteers across our community. Organized in partnership with COSILoveYou, City Serve Day mobilized more than 2,000 volunteers across 100+ service projects, uniting businesses, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations around a shared commitment to community impact. Norwood is honored to support initiatives that encourage collaboration, stewardship, and meaningful service throughout the region.

Retired Army Sergeant Travis Blackman, who is paralyzed from the chest down, initially couldn’t believe the news when representatives from the nonprofit Helping a Hero told him about the gift.

World renowned artist creates new Colorado Springs sculpture

There’s a new bell of the ball in northeastern Colorado Springs.
“Belle” is the recently erected 5,000-pound steel sculpture of a Percheron draft horse by world-renowned Scottish sculptor Andy Scott. She now towers 15 feet high in Norwood Development Group’s new Percheron, a planned community at East Woodmen Road and Banning Lewis Parkway.

The intimate gathering, hosted in partnership with Helping a Hero, Lennar, and Norwood Development Group, celebrated the resilience, service, and spirit of a true American hero.
